SPECIAL EVENTSPhotographsPhotographs are taken of each team in the club. Each player will receive a free team picture. So it is important to be in the picture. There will only be team pictures taken this year. Our pictures this year will be taken at the fields during the season. The games will be stopped and each team will photographed. It should only take a few minutes for each team so they will not lose much game time. Candid photos are being taken on some fields as the photographer finds time. These photos are available free of charge on a the website IanThompsonphoto.com during the summer. At this website, click on the VP symbol, then click to open a dated album. Use VP as the password if needed. The candid photos can be copied and should process at a 4x6 size. Team pictures will be available towards the end of the season and will be given to the coaches by the field coordinators.
Festival DayOn a Saturday, June 12 we will be having our Festival Day. The rain date is Saturday, June 19 . If we are going to postpone the Festival because of the weather, coaches will be told by about 9:30 am on Festival Day. The coaches will call players as soon as they hear of the cancellation. Our Festival is really a big picnic, with soccer games and food. Players will get food tickets and draw prize tickets at their games on Saturday. Tykes and Squirts will all be able to win a prize in the "fishpond". Players in older age groups will have their names put into a draw for major prizes These prizes will be drawn starting about 2:30 pm Each team will play 2 games.
